Place the diced beef, shallots, baby mushrooms, red wine and tomato purée into your slow cooker.
Blend the Gordon Rhodes Beef Bourguignon Gourmet Sauce Mix with 300ml of water and pour into the slow cooker. Stir well to combine.
Cover and cook on HIGH for 4 hours or MEDIUM for 8 hours, keeping the lid closed throughout cooking. Cooking times may vary depending on your slow cooker.
Once the beef is tender and cooked through, remove the lid and allow the Beef Bourguignon to stand for 5 minutes before serving.
Serve with creamy mashed potato and leafy green vegetables for a comforting family meal.
Top Tip – For an even richer flavour, brown the diced beef in a hot pan before adding it to the slow cooker.
